I'll sleep when I'm dead
I wish I could sleep now, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
Jill and Daryan's wedding was beautiful - the weather was great, the location was nice and the couple were gorgeous! I will post some pictures when I get a chance to get them off of my camera.
Sunday, we got up fairly early to the sounds of horses walking by the hotel room - then back home to feed the animals at the zoo (the house) and on to Ajax to pick up Dad's insulin before heading up north to the cottage. Dinner was nice - mmm turkey! and a few slices of pumpkin pie later, I was ready for bed.
Monday after helping with a few fall chores at the cottage, back to the zoo...a small break with more turkey helped with our energy (sort of) and on to mowing the lawn which had been neglected for a short while. I finally planted the rest of the plants I had purchased in the summer (the ones that survived - and a few more that I am hoping will come back from the dead). The house looks good again and the basement is now ready for the floor to be cleaned, then etched, then primed, then stained and stained again. Then we will be finished and we can try to get the house back in order - dispose of some boxes and make it so we can actually find some things around the house. Can't wait!
