Ok, so I admit that it has been a while since I posted, but I've been busy doing a whole lot of not much....

Aaron and I made the cross-province trek to Winnipeg just to drive back into Ontario for Sue's wedding in Kenora. We had a nice time there, the weather turned around and was beautiful for the ceremony. A black bear crashed the wedding trying to steal the attention from Sue. Can't say I've heard of any weddings in Southern Ontario to have a bear in attendance - good work Sue!

So the most recent addition to the Fick-Magee household is a 12 week old cockapoo puppy (Cocker spaniel/poodle mix). Cali is an adorable handful of mischief. Starting out as a timid calm puppy, the next few days brought out the puppy in her. Cali is now attempting to take over the house and doing a pretty good job of it so far. Our little girl is very affectionate - Aaron and I now permanently smell like puppy kisses - and always entertaining to watch (well maybe not at 6 am when I'm still sleepy and she's playing instead of doing her business outside and Aaron is in bed snoring - but you know what I mean ;) ) Will update pictures frequently I'm sure. Appointment for the vet has been made for tomorrow evening (will have to work voting around it) and we'll see how our bundle of joy likes having her temperature taken and another ride in the car!
